On Saturday I visited our local Zoo. There was a photography program offered where the participants were given a tutorial about f-stops, shutter speed and ISO and how all these elements worked together.
After the session, we were given special access to some of the animal exhibits.

The zoo pictures are really great. The hippo? Wow. My kids just loved them. – Chuck

Beautiful, all of them, the one I like the most because it makes me laugh is the owl !! they have cat eyes !! My cat Rosie sometimes has the same expression ! surprised by the world, lol !

Wow! These are great photos! Thanks for the up close photos of some interesting animals and their “facial” expressions.
Ack! The hippo photo freaked me out, and any picture of a snake literally puts tears in my eyes (NOT happy tears!!). But I still love you, and the pics are all gorgeous (except that damned snake!!).
