PhotoHunt: Garbage
![]()
For July 11, shot with a Nikon D60

There are two paintball fields in the town where I live. These spent balls were swept up into the corners of one of the fields. Trash, garbage… but still a rainbow of color.

Straight out of Camera
My mother has several of these double Tiger Lilies growing in her yard. I’ve never seen any others like it.

Lovely rainbow of color! Happy PH and happy weekend
The tiger lilies are wonderful.
Great shots. The lily is still beautiful if not perfect. and that is the prettiest rubbish I’ve seen! Happy weekend
Yes, it is quite a surprise – to see colorful nice garbage
Have a great weekend.
Indeed….colorful!!!!!
Actually very pretty garbage.
Have a great weekend with the hunt!
that kind of garbage is an eye candy
wow that is a nice picture for the theme. Happy weekend. Mine is up too.
Love the paint balls! Before I read the caption, I was wondering if they were spilled gum balls!
I love the paintballs! They look like candy.
Okay, that “garbage” photo is brilliant.
they do not look like garbage to me..
Actually rather pretty for garbage.
Now that is an attractive photo of garbage. I suppose it gets cleaned up now and again.
Happy weekend.
The garbage photo is hypnotic. What do they do with all those things?
That’s what I call beautiful garbage. Great shot!
I love your ability to find shots that I would never think of!
I have the same tiger lillies in our back yard!!
xo
Who would have thought that garbage could be pretty! Well done!
My garbage is here.
I must say this is the most beautiful and colorful refuse I have seen today! The teen guy across the street was shooting a paint ball thing at the common area tree and somehow several landed in my yard.. nasty things if you don’t know what they are and they break as you pick them up!! My construction trash or garbage is up.
I have never seen double tiger lillies, they’re beautiful and what a great shot!
The picture of the trash is really cool! One man’s trash……
Ooh, what lovely, colorful paintballs!
I wonder what they do with these balls besides let them colorfully festoon the playing field? As always, love the color, the composition and the thought-provoking nature of your Superior Snaps. And speaking of which, Sx3 is manana, and I’ve actually got REAL prizes to offer! Whoda thunk?
Goodness, but that tiger lily is fabulous!
nice choice of pic for photohunt, love those Tiger Lilies
thanks for your visit
Very colourful garbage! Great pic for the theme
Until I read the text, I thought I was looking at gumballs!:-) Most attractive “garbage” I’ve seen all day…:-)
I’m digging the paintball shot. Unique.
They do look like skittles! And those double tiger lilies are beautiful! What great shots, Tara!
Very pretty garbage.
The double daylilies are pretty too.
Pretty cool as garbage goes. Yeah, they do look like candy. Love the colors. Hope you’re having a great weekend Tara…. Hugs….
Lovely rainbow of colors.
It is colorful garbage. But if it is not handled carefully, it will still pose threat to our Mother Nature…
This suddenly reminded me of a French film with Louis de Funes. There is a scene where he is chased through a bubblegum factory and falls in a vat of liquid gum and then gets covered in multicoloured gumballs… “Les aventures de Rabbi Jacob”.

So many colours! That’s almost too pretty to be called garbage.
That garbage is surprisingly nice looking. It wouldn’t be so nice if it had washed up on a beach. Great choice. Thanks for visiting.
Nice! Thanks for dropping by
Those paintballs look like they are balls from a ball pit!
Gorgeous flower!
STUNNING!
I spent a little time this morning enjoying your photos. They are exquisite!
Thanks for visiting my PH Garbage last week.
