I got nothing…

Okay people, I got nothing. I am so overwhelmed with work that I’ve started dreaming about inputting data and computers locking up. One nightmare even had something to do with the Blue Screen of Death. Yes, it’s that bad. I finally had to pull in someone from another department to help with the overflow. He was great, low maintenance, asked intelligent questions and didn’t need me to explain common sense stuff to him. (If you’re stalking me Steve-O… thanks!)
Now add in the threat of yet another storm in the Gulf ~ which thankfully looks like it will landfall far west of me, but on the shitty side looks like it’s headed for NOLA! Dammit! Like they need another devastating storm and I’m supposed to head there myself in a couple months. I know that sounded incredibly selfish, but I’ve had a nasty week, and am so looking forward to that mini vacation.
I’ve got my ‘knead and squeeze‘ and possibly a ‘jelly roll’ scheduled for Wednesday, I need to take my arthritic dog to the vet and attend a mega-teacher conference one other day next week… I’m losing my mind.
Here’s the deal… I’ll be back to my prolific verbosity next week. Once this deadline… scratch that… once these TWO THREE deadlines pass on Tuesday, I’ll Plurk, Buzz and Press myself silly. Until then, don’t run off and leave me… mmm’k?

It is not that easy to get rid of a stalker like me..
And enjoy the long weekend!!!
[Tara R.] Kim…. thank you, you’re awesome! Hope your weekend is great too.
Wouldn’t ever, ever leave you. Have a good, long weekend. Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do. Which means the shackles are OFF!
[Tara R.] Lou… carte blanche… wow, this could be a really great weekend! Thanks!
I won’t! I promise!

[Tara R.] Anna… thanks… I really need a weekend to take a break. Hope you have a great one too.
We’ll be here. At least I will. Except the plurking thing, because, you know, I never did figure it out.
[Tara R.] Kori… thanks chicka… I just needed to take some time off. The plurk thing is fun, but can be addictive. Have a good one!
Just when I get back, you’ve got nothing?!?!
What’s up with that?!?!
I absolutely LOVE your new layout & design for the blog. It’s PERFECT.
LOVE YOU.
ps: i’m back online for good now. come by and see what i’ve been up to!
[Tara R.] Heather! … good to see you. I can’t wait to visit at your place.
Hang in there, Tara! We’re all hoping and praying that the storm steers clear of NOLA–such a sad, sad anniversary down there today. Looking forward to some of your scintillating commentary soon!
[Tara R.] Melissa… breaks my heart to think this storm could hit NOLA. I hope it blows itself out and does no damage anywhere.
Take the long weekend & try to relax. Gotta keep your BP down. I’m about to drop way back soon. Family and work needs to be taken care of first. Blogging can take a back seat for a bit.
I’ll still be around!
[Tara R.] Bad Momma… you go girl.. Family first! I’m looking forward to this weekend.
Stay away from Gustav! You KNOW you don’t want any more stress in your life. Seriously, stay safe. Can’t wait ’til you get in the Blog Groove again!
[Tara R.] Veggie… I’m going to try dry and relaxed this weekend. Got plans to have some fun with the peeps and just take it easy.
*hugs*
[Tara R.] Sue… mwah!
Hang in there! Overworked is no fun, I know. Sending good thoughts and hugs.
[Tara R.] MommyM… thanks! The good thing is that I know the end is very close and after next week, most of what I have to do will be like coasting. It’s just getting to next week that’s been crazy.
I’ll be anxiously waiting for the next post. Have fun on your mini-vacation.
[Tara R.] Chris… this long weekend could not have come at a better time. Hopefully, it will also generate lots of blog fodder.
Tara, I am sorry to hear that you are having a rough week. I hope the long weekend treats you well. You deserve a break.
[Tara R.] Insomniac… we’re launching two sites on at the same time and it was a crunch to get them both ready simultaneously. After we get these live, the rest will be a lot easier. I’m looking forward to this weekend. Hope you have lots of fun planned too.
I’ll still be around! Good luck with everything you have on your plate.
[Tara R.] Cyndy… thanks sweetie! Fingers crossed that we don’t get any of Gustav’s rain.
No worries; I think it’s going to hit Mexico or Southern Texas. Start getting your liver ready for NOLA!
[Tara R.] Nuke… from your mouth to God’s ear… I hope this storm blows itself out and no one is hurt.

[Tara R.] Angela… I can only multi-task so many things. I just couldn’t think straight after last week.
I totally understand. I’ll be hanging out until you return.
