Wait… for… it….

The peeps came through with the swag and nibbles for good ol’ mom. I can say that they did very well in keeping to the spirit of Mother’s Day… spoil the alpha female and appease her to insure another year of good luck.

In light of my recent navigation debacles, I received this lovely GPS device. I set it so my directions are given in the pleasing lilt of Lee, the Australian tour guide.

Knowing how I feel about promoting a college that my own alma mater is bitter rivals with, while still displaying pride in my daughter and her academic accomplishments, we hit on a compromise. I can neither confirm nor deny any support of the Gator Nation… aside from my own UF coed.

Then, to help me relax in my new manager digs, I have a new pair of plush bunny slippers. Soft and oh, so snuggly, I can don these in the office, kick my feet up on my desk and command fear and respect from all who enter….

Happy Momz Day! Ella Numero Dos is in the kitchen right now, whipping up dinner for go ol’ Mom. Also received a surprise Starbucks and several framed photos–the youngest is also an artist. Are you a FLA-Stater? Just wondering, ’cause of the Gator comments. Enjoy the rest of the day!

Maybe he’ll finally realize that I am the Alpha Dog in this house.
