Harbingers of spring
My mom will be calling me soon to tell me about all the flowers she will be planting this spring. She lives in a little cabin in the woods and each year she finds wildflowers that she transplants in her yard. Her planting season will start sometime in March, if the last frost holds off.
My spring, if I can trust the signs, started this week.
The rains seem to have stopped, and the temperatures are beginning to inch up toward short-sleeve weather.
Yesterday was one of the first really nice days in weeks. I got a chance to play with our mutt-dogs in the back yard and came across some true harbingers of spring. I thought I would share a few…

And, of course, the Florida robin. When this beauty shows up, spring can’t be far behind…

Ewwww!
Is that a mosquito hawk or a mosquito?
We get lots of those beauties here too! I hate them.

The flowers, pretty. That leggy thing, ewwww, not so pretty.
Blog hoppin hi!!
Oh….How I don’t miss that about Florida. I must have chocolate running through my veins because they can’t get enough of me
Love those flowers though!
Oh the robins have just been blanketing our yard for the past few days….and the racket!!!!! It’s wonderful.
I’m not entirely sure, but I think I might prefer YOUR bug to some of the creepy-crawlies we have roaming freely here in AZ.
Blog-hoppin’ tonight, and thought I’d stop at yours and wave a quick hello!
